Anna Fridman belongs to the third musical generation of her family; she had her first piano lessons at the age of six and was only twelve when she gave her debut recital. She inherited her love of piano from her father, the renowned pianist Ilja Fridman, was also a professor at Glinka Conservatory and founder of the international Skriabin competition. (He belongs to the famous Russian piano school of Heinrich Neuhaus).
While she was studying both piano and chamber music at the college of music and (under her father) at Glinka Conservatory, Anna also studied organ and wrote her first orchestra score.
This talented Russian, who speaks six languages, spent a large part of her life in Holland and studied under Ton Hartsuiker at Utrecht Conservatory. She completed those studies with the highest distinction. All the multicultural influences in Anna's life have made her a true European artist.
She enthuses her public with her creativity, whether by performing solo, playing as a soloist with an orchestra or participating in chamber-music concerts.
Anna's international career includes repeated appearances at festivals in Russia, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Holland and Germany,
as well as successful performances in various European countries.
She has played in important concert halls, such as:
Kölner Philharmonie,
Alte Oper in Frankfurt a. M.
Palau de la Musica in Barcelona
Big Hall / Tschaikovsky Konservatorium in Moskow
Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and De Doelen in Rotterdam.
